Actor Adivi Sesh's 'Major' opened in theatres last Friday and has been received well by both audiences and critics. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the man behind the critically acclaimed 'Major' has drawn praise from industry biggies, and the latest to join is Vijay Deverakonda. The 'Liger' star praised Adivi Sesh and the cast and crew of 'Major' in his Twitter post.

'Major' traces the inspirational journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his bravery before he attained martyrdom in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Major’s total earnings reached Rs 40.36 crore so far, as per trade sources. Saiee Manjrekar's performance in the film has supported and led, and she does so with the grace and panache of a seasoned performer. Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies, 'Major' also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Revathi, Prakash Raj, Anish Kuruvilla and Murali Sharma in crucial roles. The technical crew includes music composer Sricharan Pakala, cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu and editors Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
