For his role in ''Liger'', Vijay Deverakonda is undergoing rigorous training regularly and diligently. To make his
boxing skills
better with every passing day, the actor is taking training, and he undergoes intense
boxing training
as he will be seen boxing in a few sequences in the film. As per sources, real boxers from Mumbai will also be brought on board to make the boxing sequences look real. Hence, it has created nothing but excitement for the fans and we cannot wait to see what is in store for us. It is worth mentioning that the actor underwent a
dramatic physical transformation
for his role and went to Thailand for martial arts training.
The announcement of the film came in January 2020, when Vijay revealed on social media that he would be collaborating with director Puri Jagannadh. Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey has been roped in to play as the leading lady opposite Vijay. Apart from Vijay and Ananya, the film also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu and Abdul Quadir Amin significant roles. The film is being produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Puri Jagannadh under Dharma Productions in association with Puri Connects. Vishnu Sarma is taking care of cinematography, while Junaid Siddiqui is in charge of editing. ''Liger'' has music by Mani Sharma.
