Vijay Devarakonda denies claims of complaining against fans who criticised 'The Family Star'

Actor Vijay Devarakonda was recently seen in the Telugu family drama 'The Family Star'. The movie was released in theatres on April 5 and it has made more than Rs 19 crore at the box office inthe first week. The movie though is receiving a lot of mixed reviews, the Vijay Devarakonda starrer has a good reach among the audience.

A report claimed that the actor had filed a police complaint against the netizens who trolled and posted negative comments against the film, however, the actor has now clarified that it is not true and he denied all the claims made. The actor reportedly in a conversation with a film enthusiast revealed that the photo circulating of him with a police official was an old one taken during Covid pandemic and he denied filing a complaint against the people who criticsed his film with negative reviews.

The screenshot of the actor's chat with the film enthusiast is now doing rounds on social media. Directed by Parasuram, 'The Family Star' is a family drama and the movie's story revovles around a main character who is in charge of his huge family and how his life changes drastically when his love interest rents a portion of his house. The movie's cast includes Vijay Devarakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, and Ravi Babu. The film also had a special appearance of Rashmika Mandanna.
