, who has bankrolled several popular

Tollywood

films, passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday. The producer was suffering from various age-related issues and succumbed to his illnesses at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

Narayan Das Narang began his career as a movie financer in the 1980s, and has financed over 650 films spanning four decades. He was also the chairman of a popular multiplex group in Hyderabad, and serving as the president of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. Some of his recent films include Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's Love Story and Naga Shaurya's Lakshya. He had several other films in the pipeline, including

Nagarjuna and Kajal Aggawral

His funeral will take place at 4 pm at the
