Venkatesh wraps up shooting for Drushyam 2

Venkatesh Daggubati has wrapped up shooting for his part in Drushyam 2, the

Telugu

remake of the

Malayalam

film

Drishyam

2.

He commenced shooting for the film in February and wrapped it up on Thursday. The filmmakers shared a picture of him with his on-screen family from the last day and wrote, ““@VenkyMama wraps his portion of the shoot for #Drishyam2.” (sic) In the picture, he can be seen sitting under a tree with Meena, Kruthika Jayakumar and Esther Anil. The actors were also spotted shooting for the film a few weeks ago in a mobile store.

While Venkatesh has wrapped up his part, a few scenes still have to be shot. Actress Poorna plays a key role in the film directed by Jeethu Joseph, the same filmmaker who made the original starring Mohanlal and Meena. While the Malayalam version hit

, the original is expected to hit screens later this year.

Venkatesh also has Anil Ravipudi’s F3 to shoot for with Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada. A new schedule kick-started from Ugadi for the sequel of F2: Fun & Frustration. Apart from this Srikanth Addala’s Narappa, the remake of Asuran, is ready for release.
