Venkatesh set to team up with ‘Nenu Local’ director after F2?

Released in the Sankranthi week amid big films like ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, Anil Ravipudi’s hilarious multi-starrer ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’ managed to beat its competitors and emerge as the first superhit of 2019. Starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej, the comedy-entertainer opened to a fabulous response in the global arena and is inching towards the 50-crore mark.Along with Venkatesh’s impeccable comic timing and amusing expressions, the glamour show of Tamannaah and Mehreen worked big time at the theatres.
F2 marked the return of Venky in a full-fledged comedy role and the 58-year-old veteran actor nailed it from start to finish. Reportedly, the ‘Babu Bangaram’ star has given his nod to a fresh story narrated by Nakkina Trinadha Rao of ‘Nenu Local’ and ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame fame’. The commercial script is penned by writer Prasanna Kumar and the film is expected to go on floors shortly.
Along with this project, Venkatesh will simultaneously shoot for ‘Venky Mama’ with his nephew Naga Chaitanya. The crazy multi-starrer will be helmed by Bobby.
