Venkatesh Daggubati blesses Naga Chaitanya with 'Nazar Ka Tika' during pre-wedding festivities with Sobhita

As Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala recently tied the knot in an intimate wedding, actor Venkatesh Daggubati shared a series of unseen snaps from the event where he is seen putting ‘Nazar ka Tika’ on Naga Chaitanya.

Venkatesh Daggubati, who is also Naga Chaitanya’s uncle, took to his Instagram handle to share a series of unseen snaps from the intimate wedding. Sharing the pics, Venkatesh penned a note that read, “Celebrating love, happiness and family #SoChay.”


In the first picture, Venkatesh Daggubati is seen putting ‘Nazar Ka Tika’ on Naga Chaitanya’s beard. For the unversed, the pictures are from a traditional pre-wedding ceremony which is performed to purify the groom with holy ingredients and also to prepare him for the big wedding. ‘Nazar Ka Tika’ is an evil eye protection mark.


In the second snap shared by Venkatesh, he is seen posing with Naga Chaitanya and Rana Daggubati. Naga Chaitanya is related to the Daggubati clan via his mother Lakshmi Daggubati.


Rana Daggubati also shared his wishes to the newly wedded couple. The ‘Vettaiyan’ actor shared the pictures from the wedding ceremony and penned a note that read, “Congratulations to these two,” along with heart emojis.


Meanwhile, Nagarjuna shared the first pictures from the wedding via Twitter and penned a note that read, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita—you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives. This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR garu’s statue, installed to mark his centenary year. It feels as though his love and guidance are present with us in every step of this journey.
