Venkatesh at Chirec Cricket League

The CHIREC Cricket League, an Inter-House cricketing tournament that was held recently, saw a nail-biting finish amidst much cheering from the crowd. Conducted under the guidance of former cricketer and a school parent, VVS Laxman, the battle for the Champion���s Trophy was fought by four teams, representing the four houses ��� Aravalli Avengers, Vindhya Victors, Satpura Superheroes and Nilgiri Ninjas.
Formed with students and their cricket-enthusiast parents, each team was mentored by celeb parents, Kalyan Ram, Sreedhar Rao, Sunil and Akul Balaji. At the end of the finals, Laxman said, ���This was a match of a different kind, played for fun, entertainment and bonding amongst parents and the school. It should be emulated by others.���
The match saw the Vindhya Victors walk away with the trophy. Eminent personalities such as Venkatesh, Sunita Goparaju, Manohar and director of the school, Ratna D Reddy, attended the event.
