Ace actor Nandamuri Balakrishna who was recently seen in 'Akhanda' has collaborated with popular director Gopichand Malineni for his next titled 'Veera Simha Reddy'. As per reports, Balakrishna will be seen in a double role in the film. The movie marked the first collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand.
According to the sources, the actor will be seen playing two roles, one of a faction leader and the other of his son. This is Balakrishna’s 107th project and is said to be pretty different and special when compared to the rest of his films. The story reportedly revolves around characters that belong to a faction family. However, there has been no official word on the film's plotline or the lead actor's dual role.
'Veera Simha Reddy' is being bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The music will be by S Thaman, and actress Shruti Haasan will play the leading lady opposite Balayya. The star cast also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, Duniya Vijay, P. Ravi Shankar, Lal and Chandrika Ravi, among a host of others. The technical crew includes cinematographer Rishi Punjabi, and editor Navin Nooli. Sai Madhav Burra is penning dialogues for this flick, which will release in theatres in January 2023.
