Varun Tej teams up with 'Ghazi' director Sankalp Reddy for a space film

2017 was an important year for actor Varun Tej, who had two releases,

'Mister'

and

'Fidaa'

.


'Fidaa', directed by Sekhar Kammula was a refreshing change in the rom-com genre celebrated by critics and fans and became highly successful at the box office.

Last week, Tej's 'Tholi Prema' hit the screens and opened to a positive response from fans across the state. Now, reports suggest that Varun is all set to team up with Sankalp Reddy for a space film.

The yet-untitled film will see Tej playing an astronaut and will mostly be shot in Georgia. Producer

Y Rajeev Reddy

is bankrolling the project. Interestingly, this will be the second space film in Indian cinema after the upcoming Tamil film
