‘Vakeel Saab’ teaser on January 14: Pawan Kalyan fans go gaga on social media

The much-awaited news for all ‘Power Star’ fans is finally here. The makers of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Vakeel Saab announced that the teaser of the courtroom drama will be unveiled on January 14 (6:03 PM) which happens to be Sankranthi in the Telugu states. As soon as the news came out, fans stormed social media and have been trending the hashtag #VakeelSaabTeaser big-time.On New Year’s Eve itself, the makers revealed the news through a special poster, but this time around, they have specified the date and time as well.

Recently, Pawan Kalyan has wrapped up the shooting of Vakeel Saab in Hyderabad and a series of BTS stills from the last working day went viral on the internet. Initially scheduled for a massive release in summer 2020, the film got postponed to 2021 following the outbreak of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown. After a gap of eight long months, the ‘Gabbar Singh’ actor resumed the shoot in the first week of November and shot all the portions that require him in quick succession. He is reprising the role of Amitabh Bachchan in this Telugu remake of Bollywood film ‘Pink’. ‘Thala’ Ajith played the main role in the Tamil version.

Vakeel Saab is directed by Venu Sriram of ‘MCA’ fame and jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. While Nivetha Thomas is stepping into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu, Anjali and Ananya Nagalla are reprising the roles of Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang from the original Hindi film. Shruti Haasan is reprising the role of Vidya Balan from the Tamil remake of Pink titled as ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’.
