Yesterday, the first song of the film was launched by writer

Vijayendra Prasad

and the movie’s first glimpse was unveiled by Music director R. P. Patnaik at Prasad labs, Hyderabad. Whereas,

Mamidala Harikrishna

and film director

Venu Udugual

have released a four-minute DCP (Monologue clip) from the film.

Speaking at the event, writer Vijayendra Prasad said, “Though times have changed, still there are few places in the Indian society where the Jogini system persists. To overcome such practices, the makers have rightfully selected a good social subject on Jogini. The Hero and Heroine seem to act well in the movie. The songs are catchy and good. I wish the team a wholehearted success for the efforts they put in".

The director revealed what made him take up this story. “This movie is my 12-year-old dream. The source of this story is my grandfather and parents...who all were good writers but due to financial issues, they stood back from the cinema. I wrote the complete story and screenplay of this film. Telangana land has so many stories, poems and histories to it.

If you touch this soil, not just its stories but the bloodstains will also be seen as many had to sacrifice their lives in various struggling movements to be what it is today and all those stories will come to one's mind. Cameraman Mastan Siripati, who has been with me for ten years, had worked on this film. My friend Kiran wrote two songs in this while several others helped me to shape its output, I thank all of them".
