V Trailer: Nani the psychopath and Sudheer Babu the super-cop lock horns

The trailer of Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s Nani, Sudheer Babu, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nivetha Thomas starrer V is finally here!
Recently, the team of V announced that the film will hit an OTT platform soon, on September 5, instead of waiting for a theatrical release like originally intended. The film was supposed to hit screens on March but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the team finally took the decision to give it a digital release, given the current circumstances.
The OTT platform and the film’s cast recently even ran a contest, asking people to post a picture showing off the V sign if they wanted to see the trailer soon. The trailer sees Nani play the role of a psychopath who keeps leaving chaos in his wake. Sudheer Babu plays the role of a famed police officer who locks horns with him to solve the mystery. Nivetha Thomas plays Sudheer’s love interest and someone who seems to have an inkling into the case. Aditi Rao Hydari’s role is still being kept under wraps.
The film sees music by Amit Trivedi and the trailer seems to make a lot of self-referential jokes about ‘matching expectations’ and more. Going by the comments under the trailer, the response seems to be positive so far. It remains to be seen if the film matches expectations.
