Upendra joins the shoot of Varun Tej's ''Ghani''

Tollywood actor Varun Tej Konidela has joined hands with director Kiran Korrapati for his upcoming film titled ''Ghani''. The action thriller will be bankrolled by Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda under the banner Renaissance Pictures in association with Allu Bobby Company.
Apart from Varun Tej, ''Ghani'' also features Kannada star Upendra, Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and Naveen Chandra in crucial roles.Popular veteran actor Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar has been roped in to play the leading lady in the film.
The first schedule of ''Ghani'' has been wrapped up recently and the team has just began the second schedule in Hyderabad. Kannada superstar Upendra has joined this schedule and his photo with the team has gone viral on social media. Last seen playing a ruthless gangster in action thriller ''Gaddalakonda Ganesh'', which was directed by Harish Shankar; Varun Tej will be seen playing a boxer in ''Ghani''. The project originally went on the floors earlier this year after being officially launched last January. The makers have announced that the film will release on July 30, 2021. The film has music by SS Thaman, who had also worked with Varun in Tholi Prema.
Meanwhile, Varun Tej will also be seen in the sequel to F2: Fun and Frustration. To be directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film will feature Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen Pirzada. The film will have music by Devi Sri Prasad. ''F3: Fun and Frustration'', which is gearing up for a release on August 27, 2021, is being bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
