Mysterious thriller movies with unique concepts have a special place in the hearts of cine-goers and if narrated engagingly, chances are high for these movies to do well at the box office. The upcoming film ‘Kerosene’ is said to be a first-of-its-kind crime thriller that is incorporated with all the commercial ingredients. Comes up with the tagline 'A Burnt Truth', the film is directed by Dhruva who also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Meanwhile, the film has completed its censor formalities and it has been awarded a U/A certificate. The makers were lauded for coming up with a unique thriller and making it engagingly.

Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthivi Yadav are producing the movie under the Big Hit Productions banner. Dhruva and Preethi Singh are playing the lead roles, while Bhavana Manikandan, Brahmaji, Madhusudan Rao, Kancherapalem Raju, Sammeta Gandhi, Jeevan Kumar, Rama Rao Jadhav, Laxman Meesala, Laxmi Kanth Dev and Lavanya are the other prominent cast. Aayan Mouli handled the cinematography of the movie.

The film’s theatrical trailer was released some time back and there are good expectations for the movie scheduled for a grand release on June 17th.
'Virata Parvam', 'Godse', 'Kerosene' new Telugu films releasing in theatres and on OTT platform this week

Last week on June 10th there were 5 films released in Telugu and only a few could pull audiences to the theatres namely Nani’s ‘Ante Sundaraniki (U 176)’, ‘777 Charlie (Kannada dub)’ and Jurassic World Dominion (English Dubb) films. And unlike every week this week, only 3 Telugu films are releasing in theatres, lets's have a look at them below.

Virata Parvam stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi and it is a Period action drama film written and directed by Venu Udugula and produced jointly by Rana’s father D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film also stars some of the finest actors in the country such as Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, Sai Chand, and Priyamani in supporting roles. The film is said to be revolving around the Naxalite movement that took place in Telangana in the 1990s. The confident makers have already started screening the premiere shows of the film.

Godse is a Telugu action thriller film written and directed by GopiGanesh Pattabhi and it is produced by C.Kalyan under his CK Screens. The film stars Satyadev Kancharana and Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the lead roles. The film has its music composed by successful music composer Sunil Kashyap and the film's cinematography is handled by Suresh Sarangam. Sagar Udagandla has edited this film that is coming before the audience on 17th June 2022.

Kerosene is an upcoming Telugu film, that revolves around the victims of brutal rape and murder who were then burnt alive with Kerosene. The film is said to be an investigative thriller that stars newcomers Dhruva, and Preeti Sundar playing the lead roles. Brahmaji, Sammeta, Madhusudhan, and Kancherapalem Raju play other important characters in the film. The film was shot by Ashok Dabbeeru and its music was composed by Anantha Narayananan that is hitting the theatres on 17th June.

‘Recce’ is reported to be a new thriller web series, that will hit a popular Telugu OTT this week. It is getting released as 7 episode series with 25 mins each that will reportedly talk about Tadipatri Municipal Chairman and other main characters in the Anantapur killings that cast Sri Ram, Dhanya Balakrishna and others, will start streaming from 17th June.

Popular Telugu anchor Suma Kanakala’s movie ‘Jayamma Panchayati’ in which she played the lead role is streaming on OTT from June 14th. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Kalivarapu and it has its music composed by MM Keeravani. However, the film didn’t do well at the box office, it is coming on OTT now.

Nayanthara comes as a mother protecting her child who is in danger. She is playing the key role in her upcoming 'O2' (Oxygen) directed by GS Vignesh. The film will star Rithvik, who is popular for his sketch videos on Youtube

and he will be reportedly playing Nayanthara's Son. The film's music is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar to the lyrics are written by Rajesh Giriprasad. The film's Telugu trailer has been released and it will stream on a popular OTT platform from 17th June.
