Twelve years of Charmme

Actress Charmme has completed another personal milestone in Tollywood. Exactly 12 years ago the actress debuted in Telugu cinema on this very day. Her first film Nee Thodu Kavali released on March 27, 2002. Charmme aged 13 then was still in school played a housewife in the family drama. The movie turned out to be a dud at the BO but she soon debuted in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her big break in Tollywood came with Gowri in which she was paired opposite Sumanth.
There was no looking back ever since. The actress has acted in 50 films since and has debuted in Bollywood with the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Buddah Hoga Tera Baap directed by Puri Jagannadh. She has completed shooting for her 50th film Pratighatana in which she is playing a journalist. Tammareddy BHaradwaja is directing the movie set for release soon.
