Trivikram Srinivas: Telugu audience show their love for cinema even in the pandemic

Director Trivikram Srinivas recently made some interesting comments about the Telugu audience watching films in theatres despite the pandemic.
With films like Krack, Uppena, Vakeel Saab and Jathi Rathnalu hitting screens before the second wave of the pandemic which saw the death toll rise and now films like Ichata Vahanamulu Nilupa Radu and Sridevi Soda Centre lined up for release, the director lauds the audience in Telugu states for turning up to theatres.At the pre-release event of IVNR, he said, “Not just in the country but in the entire world, nobody is willing to watch films in theatres due to the pandemic. However, our audience continues to show their love for cinema even now. I hope they continue their patronage with all safety precautions.”
The lead actor of IVNR, Sushanth A, was last seen in Trivikram’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Talking about it, he said, “After Chi La Sow, I had noticed a major change in him, which is why I cast him in the film. I hope he continues to be part of good projects.” Directed by debutant S Darshan, the film will release on August 27. Trivikram will soon be directing Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in their next, apart from another film with Jr NTR. He is currently penning screenplay and dialogues for Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati’s next.
