Trivikram Srinivas on Vijay Deverakonda: He’s seen more hate than love, but he's strong

At the recent pre-release event for the upcoming Telugu film 'Lucky Bhaskar', starring Dulquer Salmaan, director Trivikram Srinivas and actor Vijay Deverakonda joined them as chief guest. During the event in Hyderabad, Trivikram expressed his admiration for the 'Arjun Reddy' actor, calling him one of his favourite actors and acknowledging the challenges he faced throughout his career.

As Trivikram took the stage, he invited Vijay to join him and shared some heartfelt words in Telugu. He noted that Vijay has experienced a great deal of affection but has also faced double the hate in a short span of time. He said in Telugu which loosely translated into English, "He saw both love and hate in a short amount of time…but he’s strong. I wish you all the success, I’m elder to you so there’s no harm in me hoping that for you"

In a warm moment, Vijay hugged Trivikram after the speech. He went on to praise Trivikram's work, mentioning a few of his favorite films written and directed by him, such as 'Manmadhudu', 'Nuvvu Naaku Nacchavu', 'Jalsa', and his personal favorite, 'Khaleja'. He said he would defend Khaleja for anyone who criticized it with passion.

Trivikram's recent work includes directing Mahesh Babu in 'Guntur Kaaram', which received mixed reviews earlier this year. He is set to collaborate with Allu Arjun in an upcoming project.

On the other hand, Vijay Devarakonda after his brief cameo in 'Kalki 2898 AD', is now working on his upcoming film tentatively titled, 'VD12' which will be a spy action thriller. Directed by 'Jersey' Gowtam Tinnanuri fame it is announced to release on March 28th, 2024.
