Trailer for SS Rajamouli's documentary 'Modern Masters' is OUT

The trailer for the SS Rajamouli documentary titled 'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli' released today on July 22. This documentary, directed by Raghav Khanna, offers a deep dive into the life and career of the acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, known for his work on global blockbusters like the 'Baahubali' franchise and 'RRR'. The documentary is set to premiere on August 2.

The trailer shared by Netflix on social media plaforms opens with a glimpse into Rajamouli's dedication to his craft, highlighting his passion for storytelling. He expresses, "I want to tell an incredible story. I just want the people to get invested in the movie."

The two-minute, one-second gives a behind-the-scenes look at Rajamouli's filmmaking process. It features snippets from his work on 'RRR', 'Baahubali: The Beginning', and 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' showing his creative genius where he is seen instructing actors about the role sometimes performing himself and showing what goes on behind the camera in his head.

Renowned filmmaker James Cameron also makes an appearance in the trailer, he says, "He certainly has the respect to be able to do anything and work with anybody."

Throughout the trailer, actors Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Prabhas praise Rajamouli's unique vision and storytelling prowess. Jr NTR says, "This person is born to make films, and he's born to tell stories that have never been told. I haven't met someone like that." Praising Rajamouli Prabhas says, "I haven't met someone like that. He's mad that's all". Ram Charan says, "Sometimes I am shocked. I see myself as a third person when I see his films, when I am working in it."

The trailer also features Indian filmmaker Karan Johar, who describes Rajamouli as a legend. He said, "He's a legend already. Now he can become like an even bigger legend".

'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli' would be offering viewers the director's journey and creative process. It includes interviews with Rajamouli's close collaborators and notable film personalities such as Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan and Hollywood filmmakers James Cameron and Joe Russo.
