​Top Telugu films releasing this Diwali: 'Baahubali: The Epic', 'Mass Jathara', 'Vrusshabha'​

This Diwali season is set to light up the box office with multiple Telugu releases. Multiple films are set to hit the big screens, which include action-packed entertainers and grand epics. Fans and audiences can look at a festive treat in theatres. Let's take a look at the top Telugu films releasing this Diwali.

India's one of the biggest franchise helmed by SS Rajamouli was more than just a movie, it was a revolution in Indian cinema. The movie completed 10 years this year, and to celebrate it, the makers decided to release 'Baahubali: The Epic'. It is a re-edited and remastered single-film version combining the two blockbuster parts, 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'. The combined film tells the sweeping saga of the fictional kingdom of Mahishmati.

The film stars Prabhas as the iconic Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali. It also stars Rana Daggubati as Bhallaladeva and Anushka Shetty as Devasena. The movie featured Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, and Nassar in key roles.

It is set to release on October 31, 2025.

Ravi Teja after almost a year away from the big screens he will be seen in the upcoming action drama, 'Mass Jathara'. Directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the movie will be a mass entertainer with Ravi Teja as a stylish Railway Police officer and delivering the full-on mass appeal for which he is known.

The film also features young star Sreeleela, who has earlier worked with Ravi Teja in 'Dhamaka', which turned out to be a superhit. Their upcoming film makes fans eagerly await it to watch their chemistry back on screen.

Initially, it was scheduled for release on August 27, 2025. However, the film was postponed due to industry-wide strikes and delays in post-production, with a new release date set for October 31, 2025. 'Mass Jathara' features music by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer 'Telusu Kada' is also set to hit soon this month. The movie is a romantic drama film that includes two female leads, Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty.

Directed by debutant Neeraja Kona, the story is about how Siddhu's character is caught in a humorous and emotional love triangle between two women, played by Raashii Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty. The music is composed by Thaman.

The film is set for release on October 17, 2025, coinciding with Diwali celebrations.

With this upcoming film, Malyalam superstar Mohanlal is making his comeback in the period drama genre. The film is a pan-Indian project shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi and Kannada.

The movie is directed and written by Nanda Kishore where Mohanlal plays the role of King Vrusshabha who is a powerful rules and is challenged by betrayal, warfare, and the heavy responsibilities of leadership.

The film also includes Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Neha Saxena. Music is given by Sam C. S. and sound design by Resul Pookutty.

It is scheduled for release on October 16, 2025, coinciding with Diwali.

The film starring Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja in the lead is an action romance drama directed by Jains Nani. The film is said to be a family entertainer about a rich youngster who wants to live a jolly life.
