Tollywood drugs and money laundering case: Tarun appears before ED officials on Wednesday

Tollywood actor Tarun has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad on Wednesday in regards to an on-going drugs and money laundering case.
The actor appeared at the office before 10:30 AM and was spotted accompanied by his team as he head into the office to face questioning. The actor was previously questioned by the excise officials in 2017 and was cleared when it comes to the drugs case.Now, his financials will be looked into and he will be questioned about his alleged connection to an individual named Calvin – the main accused in the case. Despite getting a clean chit in the past, the actor’s financials will be looked into now for further details.

Tollywood celebs like Puri Jagannadh, Charmmee Kaur, Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Nandu, Tanish Alladi and Navdeep have already been questioned by the ED in the last few weeks. Reports state that it remains to be seen what action ED takes once all their financials are presented to the court after the questioning is done. Just like the celebs before him, Tarun is expected to be at the ED office for most part of the day. The previously summoned celebs have been questioned by the officials between anything from 5-10 hours per day. Further details are awaited.
