Actress Sreeleela recently made her appearance in the highly anticipated 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', where she got immense applause for her dance moves in the song 'Kissik' with Allu Arjun.Throwback to the time when the actress took a trip down memory lane by sharing an adorable throwback photo on Instagram in celebration of International Dance Day.
The picture features a young Sreeleela gracefully performing a classical Bharatanatyam dance, dressed in a traditional costume which shows her early passion for the art form.
Sreeleela expressed her nostalgia and gratitude for the journey she has taken since childhood. She revealed that she began learning dance at the tender age of three and completed her arangetram, which is a graduation ceremony for dancers when she was just eight years old.
Sreeleela credited her mother for encouraging her to pursue dance, emphasizing the importance of family support in nurturing her passion. She fondly recalled performing in various shows, including an Indianized version of "Snow White," where she portrayed different characters throughout her theatrical journey.
In the caption, the 'Guntur Kaaram' actress wrote, "Happy international dance day :) Here’s a picture of me enjoying my most favourite dance form BHARATANATYAM, Started learning dance when I was 3 and did my arangetram(Is a graduation ceremony in dance)when I was 8. Thanks to my mother who encouraged me at a very young age a beautiful journey of number of shows travelled all over to perform, various characters during our drama performances eg “Snow White”(Yes was done in an Indianised way) From the mother of dance is where I could learn all my other dance forms. Hope I didn’t bore you"
On the work front, the actress was last seen in the Sukumar directorial starring with Allu Arjun in a special song.
She is also set to play the lead in the upcoming Nithiin starrer, 'Robinhood' playing the female lead. The movie is set to be released on December 25th, 2024, coinciding with the Christmas season.
