Popular comedian
Brahmanandam has entertained Telugu film fans for decades ever since he made his film debut in 1987 with ‘Aha Naa-Pellanta'. He became a household name among the Telugu diaspora through his comedy characters & comic timings. However, the talented actor wasn’t seen in any film this year.
But he made his presence felt as he appeared on a Telugu talk show on a popular entertainment channel this week and shared several details about his journey in the film industry so far. Answering one of the questions about memes on him on the Internet, he said that he is grateful to all those youngsters who keep him in the limelight despite he is not busy doing films like before.
He also applauded the meme-makers by stating that he would have been forgotten by now if these meme-makers wouldn't have recalled him. Brahmanandam has been doing lesser films lately as he underwent a successful heart bypass surgery in January 2019.
He has won several awards and rewards for his contribution to the
entertainment Industry
and he was honoured with
Padma Shri in 2009. He also holds
Guinness World Record
for the most screen credits for a living actor with more than 1000 films to date.
