social media

and earned over one million views since surfacing online. It all started when a Twitter user named Carlos (@ChuckEChave) shared this particular 50-second scene from Baahubali 2 where Shivudu (Prabhas) and Katappa (Sathyaraj) plot a plan to storm into the kingdom of Mahishmati by launching themselves off from

palm trees

as missiles on air.

After witnessing the epic action-choreography and the sheer amount of creativity involved in the making, Carlos tweeted, “The full scene with sound is just the greatest scene I’ve ever watched.” The tweet became so popular that it garnered over 13,000 retweets and 40,000 likes in just two days.
Besides the netizens, the viral clip has caught the attention of

Hollywood

filmmaker Scott Derrickson. Known for directing the Marvel blockbuster Doctor Strange, the 53-year-old popular personality re-tweeted the trending video from Baahubali and wrote “Behold, India’s Baahubali 2!” American filmmaker Amy J. Berg also mentioned the video on her official handle.
