Today marks the grand release of 'Kalki 2898 AD,' a highly anticipated mythological sci-fi film that promises a cinematic treat for audiences. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie has a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. It looks like the makers did not shy away from adding more star power to the film as the film has cameos of some of the most prominent personalities from the film fraternity.
One of the intriguing characters in the film is Bujji, the sidekick of Prabhas's character, Bhairava. Bujji is a futuristic robocar and humanoid AI robot, that provides both assistance and companionship to Bhairava. The voice of Bujji is brought to life by actress Keerthy Suresh.
Just hours before the movie hit theatres, the filmmakers held an Instagram live session where they revealed some exciting details. Fans were thrilled to learn that Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Devarakonda make special appearances in the film.
Dulquer Salmaan is expected to take on the role of Prabhas' father.
Another exciting cameo comes from the acclaimed director SS Rajamouli. In a delightful nod to his blockbuster 'Baahubali' franchise, Rajamouli is seen driving a futuristic car and humorously telling Prabhas that he will keep him busy for 10 years next time.
Photos of SS Rajamouli and music composer MM Keeravani watching 'Kalki 2898 AD' have also been circulating on social media.
Additionally, another celebrated Telugu filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma, makes an interesting appearance in the movie. In his cameo, Varma is seen explaining something to Bhairava and then surprising him with an unexpected twist.
With its impressive cast, engaging storyline, and special cameos, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is already making waves. Fans are flocking to theatres to experience the film, which combines mythological themes with futuristic sci-fi elements.
