Weddings in tinsel town seem to be making married people nostalgic about their own wedding day. The wedding season began with Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj and then it was Kajal Aggarwal, who decided to get hitched to her entrepreneur beau Gautam Kitchlu amid the pandemic. On Tuesday, Namrata Shirodkar took a trip down memory lane and posted a picture of her wedding day with Mahesh Babu. What was interesting was the uncanny resemblance of her picture with that of her own parents.

All wedding pictures have the same emotions, the same bright smiles and the anticipation of new beginnings and it was quite evident in the two pictures.
The Vamsi actress took to Instagram and shared a picture of her and her parents’ wedding and the uncanny resemblance between the two. She wrote, “Picture-perfect 'Then And Now' moment! The coincidence is uncanny! 😍😍😍 Life comes a full circle 😊 Marriages.. made in heaven! ❤️”(sic). Dressed in a white silk sari with a green border embroidered with golden threads, Namrata looked like the picture-perfect bride while Mahesh Babu opted for a white panchi and kurta. The love between the two has just blossomed in the years gone by and today, they are blessed with two beautiful kids, Gautham and Sitara Ghattamaneni.

The lockdown has made us all introspect and reflect on our lives. And sorting through old pictures is giving people a sense of what is important and what they have been missing out on. Recently, Namrata also spoke about how taking out time for oneself no matter how busy they are is crucial for overall well-being. She wrote, “Take a step back... from the chaos!! Sometimes it’s important to have a ‘ME’ moment... just be😊😊” (sic).
