Ravi Teja and
Shruti Haasan’s upcoming film KRACK is all set to hit the theaters on Saturday amid decent pre-release hype. Touted to be a high-voltage actioner, the film features the Mass Maharaja of Tollywood as tough cop Potharaju Veera Shankar who kicks some serious ass when it comes to baddies casing disturbance and injustice to the society. While
Samuthirakani and Ravishankar are essaying the villainy roles,
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen in a crucial role.
The film reunites the successful combo of director Gopichand Malineni and Ravi Teja after ‘Don Seenu’ and ‘Balupu’.
Perhaps, for the first time in Telugu cinema, a theme track has been composed on the main antagonist played by Samuthirakani in Krack. Titled as ‘Theme of Katari’, the close to 3-minute clip showcases the journey of Katari Krishna in Ongole through several pictures from his young age. The director-turned-actor looks menacing in the role and promises an epic face-off with the protagonist. Backed by the thunderous music composed by SS Thaman, Sri Krishna and Sai Charan have crooned the dark number with lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Sastry.

After a halt of seven months due to COVID-19 crisis and lockdown, the shooting of Krack resumed in the first week of October at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and besides filming some crucial portions, the makers have also shot a special song on Ravi Teja and Odisha beauty Apsara Rani. Ace choreographer Jani has composed the dance moves for this mass number. The shooting of the film was recently wrapped up in Goa with a song filmed on the lead pair.
