Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of Prabhas starrer 'The Raja Saab' directed by Maruthi. The movie has been in production for a while, as it was earlier announced to hit the big screens in April, but was later postponed till December. Latest buzz suggests the film is expected to be delayed yet again.
Another release date
As per a report in 123Telugu, the horror comedy film is also speculated to be postponed again, as now it is suggested that the film will be released during the Sankranti window, that is, during Sankranthi 2026, on January 9, 2026. It is imperative to add that there's no official confirmation from the team yet.
Box office clash
If the film does move to Sankranthi 2026, it will enter a high-stakes festive race, traditionally known for major box office clashes. Big ticket films like Thalapathy Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' directed by H Vinoth, Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara starrer 'Mega157' directed by Anil Ravipudi are also touted to be released during the same window.
'About The Raja Saab'
'The Raja Saab' marks a change of pace for Prabhas, who has recently been seen in action-heavy or high-concept films. The plot is around a young man portrayed by Prabhas, who looks to reclaim his ancestral property to overcome financial difficulties.
