‘The Raja Saab’ OTT: Digital release to include Prabhas’ older look missing from initial theatrical run - Reports
Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ was released with much fanfare and expectations on January 9. However, the film received mixed to negative reviews. Now, the movie has made its way to the digital streaming space. Upon its theatrical release, fans were left disappointed that it did not include the actor’s older look during the initial screenings. The makers have shared that the version that was not included during the original release will be part of its digital premiere.
Although the OTT released it here, the movie is also currently available in the theatres. OTT version to include Prabhas’ older look
According to a report by Onmanorama, as the film is now streaming on Jio Hotstar, the makers have shared that a four-minute cut version, which was not shown on the first day in theatres, will be included while streaming online. The portion will include Prabhas’ older look, which became one of the talking points when the trailer and posters were released. Filmmaker T G Vishwa Prasad, who backed the movie, said that the scene was removed due to server issues. Because of this problem, the team could not make last-minute corrections before the theatrical release.About ‘The Raja Saab’
Directed by Maruthi, the movie is a horror comedy that tells the story of Prabhas as Raju, who is a grandson searching for his long-lost grandfather. Talking about the film’s cast, it stars Prabhas alongwith three female leads featuring Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Nidhhi Agerwal, with Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt playing the main villain and Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab and Brahmanandam also seen.Although the OTT released it here, the movie is also currently available in the theatres.
