As per a report by Hindustan Times, after the release on Friday, the makers held a success party the next day. During the event, Maruthi shared that he has been receiving multiple calls from fellow directors and producers from the industry. He also shared that he got a call from Allu Arjun, where they discussed the film. “My friend Bunny babu (Allu Arjun) called me yesterday morning to talk about the film. So please don't think that I am feeling sad over anything. We have made something new with this film and we are very happy with the response,” he said.

The director also requested fans to celebrate the film like a festival. He described ‘The Raja Saab’ as a special gift from the team to the audience. “We worked really hard on ‘The Raja Saab’ so it means a lot to all of us. Thank you so much,” he added.
Fire breaks out in the theatre during the screening
Recently, an unfortunate incident was reported from Odisha, which stated that a fire broke out in the theatres during the screening of Prabhas starrer.
It was reported that fans had carried an ‘aarti ki thaali’, lighting lamps and bursting fire arrows in front of the screen during Prabhas’ entry as per a post shared by Journalist and Social activist Siraj Noorani.
Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ features Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab.
The movie has collected over Rs 90 crore in two days in India, as per trade analyst Sacnilk and made over Rs 138 crore worldwide.
