‘The Paradise’: Srikanth Odela says Nani starrer film will show Mohan Babu’s ‘true acting strength’

Telugu actor Mohan Babu will be seen in the action thriller ‘The Paradise’ alongside Nani, directed by Srikanth Odela. Recently, the director shared a few words about the veteran actor’s role in the film.

According to a report by 123Telugu, Srikanth Odela shared that some people do not know the real acting power of Mohan Babu. The filmmaker said he wants to show that side of the actor in this film.

“A section of the audience is not aware of Mohan Babu sir’s true capability as an actor. I am 100% trying to showcase the Mohan Babu we have been missing. I won’t say much now because the teaser and trailer will speak more about him,” he said.

He reportedly said this while attending the 34th Annual Day celebrations of Mohan Babu University held in Tirupati.

Mohan Babu plays dangerous villain

In the film, Mohan Babu plays a strong and dangerous villain named Shikanja Malik. His look in the movie is rugged and scary. Many fans are already talking about his appearance. The film is a big action drama and Mohan Babu plays a very important role. His character will be the main enemy of Nani in the story.

Cast of ‘The Paradise’

Speaking of the cast of the film, Kayadu Lohar is playing the female lead. Meanwhile, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu, Tanikella Bharani and Raghav Juyal, who is making his Tollywood debut, are part of it.

The first song from the film, ‘Aaya Sher,’ was recently released and it is getting a lot of attention from fans. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The film is currently under production. It was announced for release on March 26, 2026. However, the makers pushed the release date. Srikanth Odela took to his social media handle to announce the delay. He wrote, “I don’t want to rush. I need some time to deliver it. #TheParadise - 21-08-2026.”
