Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is currently shooting for his film 'Thandel' with director Chandoo Mondeti. The shooting schedule is in full swing in Udupi. The makers have launched the teaser of the film titled 'Essence of Thandel'. The teaser introduces Naga Chaitanya's character as a fisherman and shows him fishing in the sea. It also reveals that the story of the film is inspired by real events in Srikakulam in 2018. Naga Chaitanya went through a physical makeover for this once-in-a-lifetime role.

Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is now shooting for his film 'Thandel' with director Chandoo Mondeti. While the shooting schedule is now happening in Udupi in full swing, the makers have launched the teaser of the film. The first video glimpse titled Essence of YThandel was released last night.
The movie makers earlier planned to launch the promo on Friday, but it came a day later. The video introduces Naga Chaitanya's character as fisherman and it shows him fishing in the middle of the sea as he delivers a mass dialogue.The video then immediately shifts to him being in the prison of Karachi, Pakistan as he accidentally entered the Pakistan waters.
The teaser also shows that Naga Chaitanya has a dialogue exchange with the Pakistan officer. The video also gives us a glimpse of Sai Pallavi, the female lead of Thandel. She plays Nag Chaitanya's love interest as Bujji.

Thandel is one of the most anticipated films of Naga Chaitanya as the actor went a physical makeover and he sports a rugged look for the movie. The story of the film is inspired from the real events that happened in Srikakulam in 2018.
The film is produced by Allu Aravind and the music for the movie is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Speaking about the film, a couple of days back, Naga Chaitanya revealed that the film is a once-in-a-lifetime role opportunity for him.
