Thank You: Akkineni Naga Chaitanya announces new film on dad Nagarjuna’s birthday

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna is celebrating his 61st birthday today. On this auspicious day, the Majili actor took to social media to announce his upcoming film with director Vikram K Kumar of Manam fame.
Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote, ''Thank You..an expression that can be forgotten or when used right can mean more than any other there is.#ThankYouTheMovie A story I’m looking forward to tell! The upcoming movie has been titled Thank You which will be directed by Vikram K Kumar of Hello fame. He directed his younger brother Akhil Akkineni in Hello. While the other major cast and credit details for this project are yet to be decided, Rakul Preet Singh is expected to play the leading lady opposite Chay in the film. The film will mark their second-time collaboration after Rarandoi Veduka Chudham.

Touted to be an action entertainer, Thank You will go on floors from next year. Sources revealed that the lead cast will undergo a brief workshop in Hyderabad before commencing shooting for the project. The film will be bankrolled by Dil Raju under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Devi Sri Prasad is most likely to compose music.
