The makers of the upcoming Nithiin starrer emotional action drama 'Thammudu' released the much-anticipated trailer today. The 2-minute 24-second trailer has intense emotions, high-stakes drama, and pulsating action which revolves around a brother’s unbreakable promise to his sister.The newly released trailer tells more about the film, which is a touching bond between a brother and sister. Nithiin was earlier seen as a skilled archer, and plays a man who loses his mother at a young age and is raised by his elder sister, Jhansi Kiranmayee, played by actress Laya. She becomes both a nurturing figure and a pillar of strength in his life.It also shows the emotional trauma she undergoes and the unwavering support she receives from her brother. Nithiin's character makes a promise to always stand by her no matter the situation. The story further develops into a dark and dangerous world where Nithiin must battle powerful enemies to uphold his word.

The film also teases an intriguing antagonist played by Saurabh Sachdeva. His character says, "There are some who believe in creation and some who believe in destruction. I believe in the creation that comes out of destruction".

Directed by Sriram Venu, 'Thammudu' also marks the return of actress Laya to the silver screen after a long hiatus, with the actress having recently completed dubbing for her role. The film also features Sapthami Gowda, Swasika, Hari Teja, Srikanth Iyyengar, Temper Vamshi, Chammak Chandra, and Varsha Bollamma in key roles.The film is set in a mysterious place called Ambaragodugu, a place that seems nearly impossible to escape from.The film is scheduled for release on July 4.
