2020 has certainly ended on a devastating note for Telugu cinema. Popular actor Narsing Yadav who played supporting roles in more than 300 films has

passed away

on Thursday evening in Hyderabad. The 57-year-old who has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city was suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD). As per a Hindu report, while undergoing dialysis a couple of days ago, Narsing’s health condition deteriorated and he was shifted to the ICU. He breathed his last around 7:30 PM on Thursday.

Narsing Yadav made his celluloid debut with the 1979 film ‘Hema Hemeelu’ directed by Vijaya Nirmala and played cameos till the early 90s in Telugu films. Thanks to Ram Gopal Varma, he roused to fame by acting in superhit films like

Kshana Kshanam

, Money, Money Money and Gaayam. During a recent interview, Narsing Yadav stated that it was RGV who taught him how to act in front of the camera.

In a long career spanning for over 35 years, Narsing Yadav acted in Hindi and Tamil films as well. Some of his popular Telugu films include Shankar Dada MBBS, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Leader, Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju and several others. His last appearance was in Chiranjeevi’s comeback film ‘Khaidi No. 150’.

Narsing Yadav is survived by his wife Chitra and son Ruthvik. In 2020, Tollywood lost several personalities which include Jaya Prakash Reddy,
