There may be relationships in real life but when it comes to work such as acting in the films nothing is barred. Actors have to play any character or role with any movie star if the role demands. There are a few Tollywood actresses who went against all such odds and played both daughter and wife to the same actor in Telugu cinema. If a few actresses played both mother and wife roles to the same actor a few others romanced both father and son in Telugu cinema. Lavanya Tripathi who romanced Nagarjuna in 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' romanced Naga Chaitanya in 'Yuddham Sharanam'. Similarly, she romanced cousins Allu Sirish in 'Srirastu Subhmastu' (2016) vs 'Mister' 2017 with Varun Tej besides acting with Sai Dharam Tej.

Shruti Haasan who romanced Pawan Kalyan in 'Gabbar Singh' 2012 and Katamarayudu in 2017 romanced Megastar Chiranjeevi in ‘Waltair Veerayya’ (2022) and Ramcharan in ‘Yevadu’ and Allu Arjun in ‘Race Gurram’.

Like all the other actresses she too has romanced Nandamuri Kalyanram in the 2007 film 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' and later JrNTR in Baadshah, Temper and other films.
Similarly, she romanced Ramcharan in SS. Rajamouli's Magadheera but later Pawan Kalyan in 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh', and Chiranjeevi in 'Khaidi No.150'.

Like Rakul Preet Singh, Tamanaah too romanced Tollywood's cousins such as Sushanth in 'Kalidasu', and Naga Chaitanya in '100% Love' from Akkineni Family besides Allu Arjun in 'Badrinath' and Ramcharan in 'Racha' from Mega family. She also acted with Chiranjeevi in a couple of films Such as ‘Syeraa’ and upcoming ‘Bholaa Shankar’.
Similarly with brothers JrNTR in 'Oosaravelli', 'Jai Lava Kusa' and with Kalyan Ram in 'Naa Nuvve'.

Rakul Preet Singh who romanced Naga Chaitanya in 'Rarandoi Veduka Chudham' repeated the feat with Nagarjuna in 'Manmadhudu 2'. She also has the unique credit of romancing all the cousins in Tollywood such as Allu Arjun in Sarrainodu (2016), the same year with Ramcharan in 'Dhruva', Sai Dharam Tej in 'Winner' and again his younger brother Panja Vaisshnav Tej in 'Konda Polam'.

Actress Vedhika who made her Telugu debut with Nandamuri Kalyanram’s ‘Vijayadasami’ romanced his cousin Nara Rohit in ‘Baanam’ and later his uncle Balakrishna in the 2019 action drama film ‘Ruler’.

Shriya Saran who romanced Nandamuri Balakrishna in the 2002 film ‘Chennakesava Reddy’ went on to romance JrNTR in ‘Naa Alludu’. She also has a unique credit for romance with both the superstar brothers of Telugu cinema such as Chiranjeevi in ‘Tagore’ (2003) and Pawan Kalyan in ‘Balu’ (2005).

Nayanthara who romanced Venkatesh in Lakshmi (2006) and Tulasi (2007) went on to romance Rana Daggubati in the 2012 film 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. So was with JrNTR in 'Adhurs' and in multiple films with Balakrishna such as Simha (2010), Sri Rama Rajyam, Jai Simha and other films.
