For the first time ever, more than 100 cast and crew members from the Telangana Film Employees Federation have been roped in for a Telugu film, all thanks to filmmaker Teja. In doing so,
Teja has became the first filmmaker to achieve this unique feat for his upcoming film Hora Hori. The director however, shies away from accepting that he might have kickstarted a new trend.
Ive introduced several new actors and techniques in my films over the years and this time, I found the entire cast and crew from the Telangana Film Employees Federation. Except me, everyone in the team is a newcomer and Im extremely pleased with the output, the filmmaker says.
Admittedly, the decision to hire cast and crew from Telangana was dictated by budgetary concerns. The remuneration for the members in the AP Film Industry Employees Federation is a tad higher compared to those from the Telangana Film Employees Federation. Like I said, if I have to make a good film, as per my sensibilities, within a limited budget that I have, all these factors come into play, he says.
For the kind of budgets that I have to make my films, I have to do whatever it takes to make the best possible film. When I met these new cast and crew members, I found them to be extremely passionate and sincere about their work and thats what sealed the deal for me. I think I am very demanding when it comes to work (laughs), added Teja.
The films shooting is expected to be wrapped up shortly and most part of the film was shot in the forest area near Agumbe, Karnataka.
