Team Karthikeya 2 wishes Nikhil Siddhartha on his birthday

Actor Nikhil Siddhartha turns a year older on June 1 and a new look from his upcoming film Karthikeya 2 was shared by the team.
Wishing him on his birthday, the film’s team wrote, “Saviours emerge in crisis,” to appreciate all the good work the actor has done on a personal front during the pandemic. Nikhil has been reaching out to numerous people in dire need of medications and other essentials to fulfil their needs.The actor has picked up the work he left off after last year’s lockdown and gone all out to arrange whatever he could in the Telugu states.

In Karthikeya 2, Nikhil plays the role of a doctor and the sequel of Karthikeya is expected to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Shooting for the film was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic and will resume once restrictions ease. The 2014 prequel of the film was a blockbuster and had starred Swathi too in the lead role. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and the sequel will also star Bollywood actor Anupam Kher in a key role.
Earlier, a poster from the film was released, which had the Sanskrit saying “Vaidho Narayano Hari” which means – a doctor is equal to the almighty. Karthikeya 2 is supposedly based on factual incidents dating back to another era. Nikhil is also shooting for 18 Pages, the first-look of which was released today. The film directed by Palnati Surya Pratap also sees Anupama Parameswaran in the lead role.
