Team Colour Photo celebrate their Best Film Telugu win at the 68th National Film Awards

When director Sandeep Raj’s Suhas, Chandini Chowdary and Sunil starrer Colour Photo streamed online in October 2020, movie buffs were bowled over.
The film touched upon numerous topics, including caste disparity and colourism, and how said issues affect a young, bright couple in love. What’s more, it was announced on Friday that the film bagged the Best Film Telugu award at the 68^thNational Film Awards.Fans of the film immediately took to social media to wish the film’s team.
As for the team itself, they looked completely overwhelmed by the win, if the video Suhas shared on social media is anything to go by. He revealed that the team of Colour Photo has stuck together for many years, from short films to their first feature film. He captioned the video, “After All Short Films cheskune Na Kodukulu, (sic)” addressing how many often wrote them off as just ‘short film makers’.

Wishes poured in the comments section for the whole team and even Chiranjeevi congratulated them and the other winners, writing, “Hearty Congratulations to ALL the National Award Winners from across India. Apart from Colour Photo, Sandhya Raju won Best Choreography and TV Rambabu won Best Makeup Artist for Natyam in the Telugu category while Thaman S won Best Music Direction award for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
