Tamannaah and Satyadev talk about starring in the Telugu remake of Love Mocktail

On Tuesday, news broke that director Nagashekar has roped in Tamannaah and Satyadev to star in the Telugu remake of the Kannada hit Love Mocktail.
Excited about being a part of the project, Tamannaah Bhatia says, “It’s a privilege to be cherry-picked for a project that most Telugu producers and directors were keen to reproduce. Satyadev is such a promising next-gen talent that I can’t wait to create magic with him on-screen.” She adds, “Love Mocktail is not a story that has never been seen before but it brings together the bittersweet moments of life that are relatable.I’m a huge fan of romance and nostalgia, which is why this film is very appealing to me.”
Satyadev chips in, “This is first time in my career that I get to be part of a full-fledged love story. I play a role that’s extremely layered so I’m excited. I’m sure this film will take everyone down memory lane. Tamannaah is such a good actress, I’m delight to share screen-space with her. Nagashekar is reputed in the Kannada film industry and he managed to turn the script more fresh and charming.”
Talking about making his debut in Telugu, Nagashekar says, “After a successful run which sees six films in Kannada and two in Tamil, I’m finally making my debut in Telugu. As for the film, while we have retained the soul of the film, we have tweaked it to suit the audience here.” The Telugu remake that is produced by Bhavana Ravi and Nagashekar Movies will see music by Kaala Bhairava and cinematography by Satya Hegde. The filmmakers plan to begin shoot from mid-September if the coronavirus pandemic subsides by then. The Telugu remake of Love Mocktail will be shot in Vizag and Hyderabad. At a span of 2-hours-15-minutes, the film is touted to be a relatable romantic drama.
Apart from this, Tamannaah will soon be seen in Sampath Nandi’s Seetimaar with Gopichand, Bole Chudiyan in Bollywood with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and making her web debut in Tamil with The November Story. Satyadev is waiting for the release of Venkatesh Maha’s Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya. He also has Skylab with Nithya Menen and Rahul Ramakrishna, apart from a film with Oh! Baby writer Lakshmi Bhupala and director Sanjeev Reddy lined up.
