The 2-minute-10-seconds long trailer sees

Taapsee

play the role of a gamer/game designer who gets paranoid about the dark. She lives with her help named Kalamma who tries to help her cope with the situation, while a psychiatrist, played by Anish Kuruvilla explains that she’s suffering from ‘anniversary reaction’. Taapsee plays the role of a survivor who has lived through past trauma and is now suffering its reaction on the anniversary of the incident. The trailer shows that maybe her fear is not completely unfounded because there’s a brutal serial killer on the loose, murdering women. The trailer of 'Game Over' hints at it being a home-invasion film.

The trailer of the film was today released in Tamil and Hindi too. ‘Game Over’ is slated for release on June 14 with music by

and cinematography by A Vasanth.
