Sumanth Ashwin says he re-lived college moments while shooting for his forthcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Chakkilligintha", which is said to be the first film to be shot in Maheshwara Institute of Technology in Hyderabad.
"Most of the film shot in the college for about 25 days. Ours was the first film to be shot in MIT campus in Shamshabad. The experience was so enriching as I got to relieve my college days," Sumanth told.
Sumanth plays a basketball player in the film.
After two back-to-back hits, Sumanth exudes high confidence with "Chakkilligintha".
"I was confident about this film even before it went on floors. Some stories really give you a high, and this film did that to me. While the story is complex, it has handled in a very simple manner," he added.
Directed by Vema Reddy, Chakkilligintha will release Friday.
