Sukumar's proteges bags big films

Widely known in the Tollywood industry, director Sukumar is not just a filmmaker; he's a mentor shaping the careers of budding talents. His knack for storytelling and eye for talent have paved the way for new directors to make their mark in the industry.

Recently, the spotlight has shifted to Sukumar's associates and assistants, who are making waves with their directorial debuts. Director Arjun made an impressive debut with 'Prasanna Vadanam' recently with Suhas, earning appreciation for the execution of the film. The movie received a positive reception, establishing Arjun as a promising director to watch.

But Arjun is just one in a line of success stories emerging from Sukumar's camp. Surya Pratap Palnati, known for his directorial venture 'Kumari 21F', and Karthik Dandu, who debuted with 'Virupaksha', are other notable names too. Palnati's impactful storytelling and Dandu's promising debut have caught the attention of audiences and critics alike.

Among Sukumar's proteges, Buchi Babu Sana stands out prominently. His directorial venture 'Uppena' garnered widespread acclaim, getting him to the big leagues. Now, he's set to collaborate with none other than Ram Charan for his next project, '#RC16', which is touted to be a sports drama film, where he will be seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

Not to be overlooked is Srikanth Odela, who made his directorial debut with 'Dasara', showcasing his directorial finesse and storytelling prowess and showing Sukumar's reputation for nurturing top-tier talent.

Sukumar's mentorship seems to ensure his team is well-equipped to tackle the challenges of filmmaking at every level, resulting in success as they made their debut.

He himself is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' film, where the character played by the iconic star Allu Arjun will be reprising his role as the illegal Red Sandalwood smuggler syndicate. The movie will be released on August 15, 2024.

The cast of the film also includes Rashmika Mandanna as the lead and Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist.
