Nagashekar has approached the actress to portray the key role in the highly-anticipated film. The role of Suhasini is said to be meaty and will be performance-oriented.
Touted to be a romantic entertainer, Gurthunda Seethakalam is said to be the official remake of the Kannada hit film Love Mocktail (2020). The first look poster of Gurthunda Seethakalam was released recently and had grabbed wide attention. The film also stars Megha Akash and Kavya Shetty in key roles. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Nagashekhar and Bhavana Ravi under the banner Nagashekar Movies.
Satya Dev on Sunday took to Twitter to welcome Suhasini on board. He wrote, ''Welcome on-board @hasinimani garu. Privilege to have you in the sets of #gurtundaseethakaalam @tamannaahspeaks @nagshekar.''
Gurthunda Seethakalam went on the floors a week ago, and it is progressing at a good pace. Satya Dev will be seen as a middle-aged software employee, and Tamannaah will be seen as his love interest. The technical crew comprises Kaala Bhairava for music, Satya Hegde for cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao for editing. The trailer will be out in the coming weeks.
