An awards show in Hyderabad saw South-Indian celebs slay the red carpet with their cocktail gowns, dapper suits and even casual shirts and tee-shirts. Take a look at pictures of celebs setting the red carpet on fire.

While most celebs would opt for a clean-cut suit or even a tuxedo, Mahesh Babu opted for a brown jumper paired with nude coloured chinos and black loafers as he posed for clicks on the red carpet. His friend, director Vamshi Paidipally also joined in.

Rashmika Mandanna looked red hot and gorgeous in a one-shouldered evening gown that fit her like a glove and made fans ooh and aah at the pictures shared on social media. The actress stayed on trend with barrettes in her hair.

Nani too opted for something cool and casual with a white, printed shirt paired with cool denims and sneakers as he walked the red carpet. Fans were so excited, they thronged him to click selfies even as he walked in, and he obliged.

Boy oh boy did Shruti set herself apart from the rest or what! A glittery one-shoulder gown in black with cutouts – check. Strappy sandals and edgy jewellery – check. Even better is the slicked back hair and that dark lip that steal the show.

Mollywood star Nivin looked absolutely adorable as he walked the red carpet in long hair, beard and a monochrome look that seemed just right for him. While the blazer, tee-shirt, loose pants look might not be for everyone, he makes it work.

Faria Abdullah let loose her curls and gave the usual evening gowns a skip by opting for a white ensemble that looked perfect on her. What’s not to love about a silk powersuit paired with pearls and matching mules?

Kartikeya looked dapper as ever in a blue suit paired with a round-neck tee-shirt and brown dress shoes and belt. While fans were disappointed to see that he had not brought his fiancé along, his appearance made up for it.

Regina always knows how to make heads turn on the red carpet and it was no different this time around. A backless, grey dress with multi-hued touches, deep neck that shows off her décolletage and a slinky ponytail is all it took.

Arjun Das, dressed in a bandhgala style suit complete with a pocket square and dress shoes, looked extremely happy to be there. The Master actor will soon make his debut in Telugu and looks like he was getting acquainted with Hyderabad.

Both Shivathmika and her mom Jeevita shone bright in sarees. The former in a yellow one with silver detailing and the latter in a black one with gold detailing. The chandelier earrings and potli the former carried were cute touches.

Sri Simha Koduri, who debuted with Mattu Vadalara, looked happy as a clam to be present at the award ceremony. His black suit paired with a matching dress shirt was a class look and suited him well.

Lakshmi Manchu is also someone who knows how to slay the red carpet. Be it her glowy makeup or the one-should gown with a beautiful silhouette and detailing, everything seems just perfect on her.

The Butta Bomma singer opted for a maroon turtle neck underneath his classic blazer, with a delicate chain completing the outfit. The slicked back hair and loafers on his feet added to the ‘cool vibe’ of it all.

Velvet and a unique silhouette is what Raai Laxmi went with and her kohl-lined eyes and pink lips just about complete the look. It looks like the actress decided it was a good day to have her own modern princess moment.
