Stay away from drugs, warns actor Bhanuchander

The drugs scandal related to Tollywood has shocked one and all. With prominent names coming out in the open, society and fans are having a serious rethink as to who they have been worshipping as role models. Against this backdrop, popular actor Bhanuchander shared his views and experience with drugs. “Nearly three decades ago when I was in Mumbai, I got habituated to drugs.I was saved by my elder brother who promptly weaned me away from the habit by introducing me to martial arts. He said that learning martial arts would give me a high that no drug can provide. His words were absolutely right otherwise I shudder to think what my fate would have been. I am really sorry to see young actors nowadays caught in the clutches of this menace. Taking drugs will not provide any kind of relief but will make the victims go further into depression. I can genuinely empathise with their condition and my fervent appeal to all is to stay away from drugs. It’s just not worth it,” said Bhanuchander.
