SS Rajamouli hails 'Pushpa 2' trailer: "Wildfire started in Patna, Spreading across the country!"

The 'Pushpa' fire is spreading all over the country after the grand trailer launch event was held in Patna, which featured stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. The trailer is packed with impactful scenes and Pushpa's trademark swag and dialogue which has ignited a wildfire of anticipation for fans and filmmakers with SS Rajamouli being one of them.

Director SS Rajamouli, globally known for his blockbuster films like 'RRR' and 'Baahubali' film franchise shared his enthusiasm on social media, expressing eagerness to see the film. On X (formerly Twitter) he wrote, "WILDFIRE started in Patna!! Spreading across the country!! Explodes on Dec 5th!!! CAN’T WAIT for the party PUSHPA!!!"
The trailer release event attracted over 10,000 fans eager to see their favorite superstars creating a tsunami of admirers assembled at the Gandhi Maidan.

The trailer has Allu Arjun's character, Pushpa Raj, in his signature style, promising action and drama that fans have come to love. It also features Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and introduces Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Pushpa's formidable rival. The story will pick up from the cliffhanger of the first film with SP Bhanwar Singh expected to be scheming to take Pushpa down.

Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli is simultaneously working on his next ambitious project with superstar Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled 'SSMB29'. This collaboration marks their first venture together and has been a buzzing topic among fans for this globetrotter jungle adventure thriller. It is currently in the pre-production phase and will begin shooting the next year in 2025.
