‘RRR’ is one of the few films that has genuinely changed the dynamics of the entertainment industry. With a story that evokes a spectrum of emotions—from friendship and patriotism to rage and love—this film is a power-packed entertainer that leaves audiences in awe. In the trailer of this upcoming documentary, Ram Charan and Jr NTR shared that this is the most challenging film of their careers, with the duo calling it their career best in the clip. Musician MM Keeravani also shared his experience of attending the Academy Awards while representing the movie. Many crew members stated that the film was one of the toughest projects to shoot and appreciated Rajamouli’s visionary direction.

Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn also heaped praise on Rajamouli in the clip. Rajamouli himself shared that he had “two tigers” in the film, Ram and Jr NTR, which made the movie even more powerful.

The film features incredible dance numbers that became a nationwide rage. Whether it was ‘Naatu Naatu’, ‘Dosti’, ‘Komuram Bheemudo’, or ‘Raamam Raaghavam’, the songs were unanimously praised. Furthermore, the action sequences elevated the film’s appeal even further, captivating audiences with larger-than-life visuals and exceptional VFX.

The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards, making it the first song from an Indian film—and the first from an Asian film—to win in this category. This historic victory cemented the SS Rajamouli directorial as the first and only Indian feature film to win an Academy Award.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, ‘RRR’ features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris in key roles. The film was originally released on 25 March 2022.
