Srikanth Odela's birthday wish for Chiranjeevi goes viral; director promises fans: “I will bring him back!”

Srikanth Odela, who is set to direct a film with Chiranjeevi in his next, wished the veteran actor on his 70th birthday. Referring to the megastar as “T-Rex,” he told fans that he misses seeing the superstar on screen and promised, “I will bring him back!”

In a tweet, he wrote, “Jeevithakaalam aade cinema ra Chiranjeevi. Ippudu Chiranjeevi tho cinema ante! Jeevithakalm gurthindipoyela teeyadam tappa inko option ledu.(Chiranjeevi is a cinema that plays forever. And now, I am making a film with him, I don’t have any other choice but to make a film that’s immortal.)"



The director’s tweet is now creating buzz on social media for his bold statement.

He also revealed that his upcoming film, tentatively titled Chiru Odela, will present the actor in a way fans have long been waiting to see. He said, "Na kosam nene teesthunna cinema idi. Na lanti prathi Chiranjeevi Abhimani kosam testhunna cinema #ChiruOdela. It's a BLOOD PROMISE. (I am making this film for myself. For every Chiranjeevi fan like me.)"

The film Chiru Odela was launched last year by Nani. Chiranjeevi and director Srikanth Odela marked the announcement with a striking photo featuring blood-stained hands, vowing that the movie would be a “bloodbath.” Odela, who has openly expressed his admiration for Chiranjeevi in past interviews, has promised fans an action-packed and thrilling cinematic experience.

Director Srikanth Odela is currently shooting for the upcoming Nani starrer 'The Paradise'. The film is described as a violent action drama set in 1990s Secunderabad, with Nani playing Jadal, a man from a marginalised community who rises to become a leader.
