B.V. Nandini Reddy to Srikanth Odela; List of Young & new directors that 'Dasara' actor Nani has introduced to Telugu cinema!
Natural star Nani who has turned into yet another Pan-India star from Indian Telugu cinema, started following his passion for films at a very young age. Initially, he aspired to become a film director but due to some acting offers, he started acting in films right from his 2008 Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s film ‘Ashta Chamma’ and the film has become a superhit, it has been more than 8 new Tollywood directors who have been introduced to Telugu cinema by him. Satyam Bellamkonda – Snehituda (2009)
This romantic drama film directed by Satyam Bellamkonda stars Nani and Madhavi Latha in the lead roles. Though the film was not very successful at the box office, it gave a chance to Satya Bellamkonda to try on new content.

Tatineni Satya – ‘Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu’(2010)
‘Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu’ is a Telugu sports drama written and directed by newcomer Tatineni Satya starring Nani and Saranya Mohan. The film is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Vennila Kaadi Kuzhu’ and the film has run for over 100 days at a few centres.

Nandini Reddy – 'Ala Modalaindi' (2011)
This romantic comedy film by debutant B.V. Nandini Reddy made under Sri Ranjith Movies is the biggest blockbuster hit in Nani’s career. The film saw Nithya Menen debut in Telugu while Sneha Ullal played the other female lead. The film’s music was composed by Kalyani Malik. Nandini Reddy went on to make several movies later in Tollywood.

Anjana Ali Khan – 'Veppam/Sega' (2011)
Anaja Ali Khan made her directional debut with the above crime action film starring Nani, Nithya Menen, Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi. The above film marked the Tamil cinema debut of Natural star Nani. But the film ended as an average film at the south box office.

A.Gokul Krishna – 'Aha Kalyanam' (2014)
This is yet another Tamil film shot by Nani for debutant A.Gokul Krishna that was produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and is a remake of their own Hindi film ‘Band Baaja Bhaaraat’.

Nag Ashwin – 'Yevade Subramanyam' (2015)
This coming of the age Philosophical drama film by Nag Ashwin starred Nani, Malavika Nair, Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma playing important roles. The film is criticized for its slow-paced narration, however, it gave life to Nag Ashwin as a filmmaker in the later stage.

Shiva Nirvana – 'Ninnu Kori' (2017)
‘Ninnu Kori’ is a romantic comedy-drama directed by debutant Shiva Nirvana. The film starred Nivetha Thomas, Aadhi Pinisetty and Nani playing the lead roles that were commercially successful at the box office, besides getting remade in Tamil as ‘Thalli Pogathey’.

Srikanth Odela – 'Dasara' (2023)
This period action drama film written and directed by Srikanth Odela features an ensemble star cast such as Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Poorna. The film is set in the backdrop of Singareni Coal Mines near GodavariKhani of Telangana. That received positive reviews from Critics. The film introduces Srikanth Odela as a director of Tollywood.

ShouryUV – Yet to be titled (2024)
After his superhit, ‘Dasara’ Nani’s next film #Nani30 is being directed by ShouryUV who is also said to be a debutant and more details of the project are currently not yet out. With this Nani has given chances to over 9 new directors already.
